Ex Area Pozzi
Urban Regeneration
Corsico, Milan, Italy
This intervention took place at Ex Pozzi Park, a formerly abandoned area in Corsico, on the outskirts of Milan. After 15 years of neglect, the site began a process of transformation roughly three years ago, thanks to a broader urban regeneration plan. The project involved environmental remediation, infrastructure upgrades, and a series of cultural and artistic initiatives aimed at reactivating public space.
My contribution focused on the artistic dimension of the redevelopment: through site-specific street art and community-driven installations, the intervention helped to reshape the park’s identity, promoting social inclusion and offering a safe, engaging environment for families, youth, and local residents. The result is a dynamic public space that blends nature, creativity, and community engagement.
